A river at night with golden leaves floating by. Hung from a wooden 4 inch bar with cut out pieces of wood in a decorative design attached and painted black.

This piece was hung from a dark blue wooden piece the width of the canvas. Onto the wood was attached bent willow pieces, also painted. I still work in this series from time to time.

Dedicated to my love of Van Gogh's wonderful painting of the same name. This is a large piece on cloth, hung from a decorated wooden bar.

Wall Hangings
My wall hangings are unframed works on heavy canvas. They are attached to a wooden piece that I design in keeping with the movements of the work. I have frequently been commissioned to create works for "Healing Spaces" in many different environments. Since my work is often dense and filled with movement, the unframed aspect works well here, for the creation can expand into the surrounding space.
The wooden piece is usually about 3 to 5 inches in height, and 1/4 inch in depth. I will add wooden pieces, collaged canvas, cords, all kinds of embellishment in keeping with the piece. It can also be a plain, painted piece with the hanger behind the rod.
